I love using rattan (or wicker) in homes. Most people think of using rattan outdoors or on a porch but a touch of rattan inside is a good thing!
This skirted table from Soane is favorite. It's traditional yet updated and also kind of funky. I also love it here with the oversized rattan mirror
Here is the same console against a great blue wallpaper and a rattan pendant.
The use of a rattan woven basket brings a great amount of warmth to this stark, clean space.
This space by Bunny Williams (I think!) uses these two great wicker hurricane vases on this skirted console. Great texture and also a bit of a casual flair.
For this dark, cozy space, designer Mark D. Sikes chose a rattan coffee table and layered it with tons of accessories. This space look perfect to take a nap or read a book.
For just a touch of rattan, a great mirror works. Like this sunburst mirror above from World Market.
If you are a little bit more bold you can use this console from Grandinroad by Iris Arpfel. I wish I had a place for it or a client who would go for it!
A pair of these on a dining room table for a sideboard....even a kitchen island or a coffee table.
This great plate holder
