Paneling and Billards Room Design

I have been working for the last few weeks on a new interior design job in Greenwich.  The job is going to start with redoing the foyer, living room and billards room and then phase two will be the master bedroom and upstairs office.

We are adding new moulding and paneling in the living room on the fireplace wall and all along the perimeter of the billiards room.  Right now we are in the process of designing this paneling and choosing the moulding.  I have been gathering inspiration for the paneling on Pinterest.  Here are some of my inspiration photos:
I like the simplicity of the panels in this photo.  The one large panel above the fireplace is what I want to do on their fireplace wall but on the sides I want two longer panels to elongate the wall.  I also like the very English library feel that this room has.

This photo is from Lefevre Interiors.  They are a woodworking company in Belgium and one of the owner's writes a blog, Belgian Pearls.  The fireplace wall we are paneling is going to have a similar built in on one side and I like the layout here.  I also love the fireplace surround and would love to find a similar antique one.

Here is another photo of a built-in next to the fireplace that I like.  I also like the long narrow panels between the mantle and the built-in.

In this photos I was looking at how they combined painted woodwork with the stained paneling.  In the living room we are going to have painted crown moulding, base moulding, and casing and stained woodwork on the one wall.  I am trying to decide if it make more sense to just have the corners meet up and change from stained to painted moulding at the crown or to continue the painted crown onto the top of the paneled wall.  I actually like how the white crown moulding looks here on the of the paneled wall.  But this is a very grand room and we don't have as much ceiling height.

This is Ralph Lauren's billiards room.  While we won't have the paneling on the full height of the wall or on the ceiling it is a great room to take inspiration from to create a very English feeling billiards room.  I also love the billiards light they used over the pool table.  I am hoping to install one that is similar.
